Though, as predicted, conspiracy theories abound re the non-publication of Professor Thrupiece’s proposed pollum/ovum solution [Proleptic observations, critical desiderata and determinative solutions to the pollum/ovum question [HERE]] we believe a far more straightforward explanation lies in the probability that Professor Thrupiece was far from convinced about the unassailability of his proof and was likely seeking confirmation in other instances before committing fully to print. It is widely accepted that, whilst STORA may indicate useful avenues for advancement, until and unless the results of a single STORA can be replicated in many instances, conclusions drawn from it are far from robust.
We ourselves have thus far explored the sarcina/uber [packaging/product] and baptismata apparatus/sordida vestimenta [washing machine/dirty clothes] dimensions with somewhat ambiguous results. Until and unless many positive replications from a variety of different institutions result in consistent findings we suggest that Professor Thrupiece was right to be cautious and properly protective of his impeccable yet inevitably fragile scientific reputation. A reputation, we add, that was second to none in his chosen fields and second to only one in compulsory rhythmic gymnastics. In time it may well be established beyond peradventure that the ovum does indeed precede the pollum as the Professor suggests but in that well-worn scientific phrase, it is currently "far too early to tell".
